Chennai - Villipuram - Trichy - Dindigul - Vatalgundu - Periyakulam - Theni - Bodi (bodinaicknur) - Devikolam - Munnar.

I know the Dindigul - Theni - Bodi - Munnar route, wasnt sure about Chennai - Dindigul and therefore consulted some websites for the best route.

Hi Sugesh,

Now you have the Best route. great!

Best hotel, i would suggest you have a look at Tea Garden Resort, beautiful ambiance, good service.

Also have a look at Royal Retreat since Tea Garden is a bit on the expensive side.

Steeriod - The route you have mentioned is bang on.

Sugesh - The route from Theni to Munnar is very picturesque and the climate will be very soothing this time of the year. Do plan your travel accordingly and have a Safe journey.

For hotels, whats your budget?  You have most options there, there are some really nice high-end hotels that are unique even if expensive.

Steeroid - My budget is around 3-4 k per day. Please suggest me some good hotels around this budget. If the hotel is little away from town, its not a issue for me. I like the place around the hotel to be calm and scenic. I think this kind of hotels will be little away from the town.

Is anyone have any idea about the climate now in Munnar???
