immd delivery is being offered on a premium of 20-50k depending on your bargaining power at mostly all dealers

I guess if you pay the full amount, you get the delivery without any waiting period and the day you want. Atleast this is what one of the dealer in hyd told us when we went for TD of Swift VDi

Those who claim that they know everything do not know what they dont know.

It is unethical but what s ethical in India? I hate it too and never promote such things but thats the way it is.

Hyd is lucky then, cuz in most other cities there is a waiting of at least 3 months even of full payment before hand

Hey,

I can confirm that this is not true atleast in Mumbai and Nasik. My friend has a dealership here in Nasik. He tells me that the delivery of swift diesel is scarce. The company does not deliver in time. The company, he says forces them to sell lesser moving vehicles like the A-star, if they want to have a speedy delivery of swift or dzire.

If this system is available as Anshu Jha says then good one. Should go for it.Anyways we have to pay the money in full to the dealer only. Either cash or finance.

Cheers to you!

Regards,

Dear Vinay,

This is exactly what most of us are trying to say. You just gave us the real reason behind short supply to the dealer himself.Thanx

The short supply by the company i due to the lack of adequate production at their main plant which has the same assembly line for SX4, Dzire, Swift and 2 more that I cant recollect.

The premium is not being charged by the company/maruti, it is being charged by the Dealerships across India so they can give the already avl car for someone else who has waited about 2 months already to a guy who pays a premium. This out of turn delivery is not only unethical but demeans the whole process of booking and delivery.

Though I still maintain my stand that this practice is prevalent and innocent unsuspecting customers are made to wait for 4-5 months for their car.
