Hi Guys,

I just couldn't stop myself from putting this up.

Last saturday was one busy day @ office, and afternoon i just got out for my lunch. I had to be quick since i had a meeting scheduled with my client in an hour. But------ just got out of restaurant and saw i have a flat tyre.

Quickly i called the Maruti-on-road team. They asked my location and told to wait. To my surprise after exactly 5 minutes i had two sales people from SAI Service who were nearby in front of me. Within the next 10 minutes they fixed my flat tyre with the extra in my boot, and shock again they were just not ready to accept any payment.

Said they accept gratitude in the form of satisfied customers and new enquiries---- and off they go.

This is the only reason why 'm still not ready to get out of Maruti network and again putting in dilemma whether to go for a Fiesta.

Anyways! Kudos to Maruti for the Quality ASS they provide.

Regards

Nik!

Yes Nikhil, I am also enjoying the perfect service from Maruti ASS for the last 9 years.

I also had two instances when ASS came to rescue. Once while I accidently locked the car with key inside at Thiruvananthapuram in my uncle's Alto. The on road team came within 15 minutes for my rescue. In another occassion the  clutch system of my 800 went faulty at Guruvayur while travelling with family. The ASS replaced it within 2 hours giving first priority.

Then with my new DZire (1 year old now), I always feel the after sales care is a little bit too much. Whenever the service centre is visited for regular service or some minor repair, the next week is flooded with phone calls from service centre to Head Office querying about the experience and level of satisfaction. Not to say that the feedback forms in print are always neglected.

The comfort with Maruti is that even if you are slightly dissatisfied with a particular service centre, you have the option of choosing half a dozen other ASS near by.

Maruti is always best in ASS for a long time. It will take a long time to other manufacturers to even think like Maruti's service.

Road side assistance within city limits is becoming standard for manufacturers. It usually includes tyre change, jump starting a vehicle etc.

It can also be availed of cost ( usually not very high ) from market players apart from manufacturers.

Details of the Fiat incident reported by Opendro is here :

The Maruti is a paid service whereas the likes of FIAT are coming up with free RSA for 4 years and various other schemes.

Well well whatever it is but it does assure you of Rescue.

Even if they charge you something doesnt make any difference for the situation you are in,its worth the payment.

I just can imagine how it feels when a breakdown happens out of the blue!

Well good going Maruti.CheersInnocent

Thanks a lot friends for sharing your views.

@Shankar {

                  Thank You for pointing to the thread

                }

The kind of initiative sales people took rather astonished me, this particular incident just forces me to be with Maruti family.
