Gear shift asistance

can any 1 plz suggest me wen should we change gear from 1st 2nd, 2nd to 3rd and so on..

wat should be the desired rpm for every gear?

In my opinion, you need not worry about the rpms.  Just change/shift to 2nd at 10-15, 3rd at 20-25, 4th at 35-40 & 5th at 50-55.  On highways, you may accelerate a little more in 3rd & 4th gears to get better pick-up.

It isn't must.  It will give wet/shiny look.  The same will wear-off graduallly in 2.5-3 years.
