1.Music system - either zxi one or touchpanel or normal cd+usb ones as per your choice

-> m opting for usb 1. pioneer headset

2.speakers - what kind of music u prefer? we can guide u accordingly

-> 2 front door speakers and 2 oval tray speakers

3.Sunfilm - 3m or Llumar

->my daily run will be more so i need sun films with more thn 50% heat rejection

4.Seat covers - art leather or fabric/velvet depends on your choice.

->no idea abt seat covers. u ppl suggest as ur preference.

Go in for art leather, it doesnt heat up uncomfortably and if you run the a/c even 70% of the driving time, its good enough. Youll get them real cheap starting at 2500-about 10000 from stanley

5.Gear lock - very very essential for a small car

->watz this? haven't heard before really, plz shed some light on it.

Gear lock is when you can lock the gear in one position say in reverse. It is an anti theft device and doesnt open/cut so fast. It also reduces your insurance premium by a small amount if you have an ARAI tested anti theft device installed. Even if it spoils the looks, its best to have a slightly odd look than have a stolen car, right?

6.Security alarm remote system - Again a must

->yes remote locking is must 4 me.

opt for nippon form maruti itself for about 5500/- or go in for autocop. But the nippon is amazing and didnt give me any problems in the 5 years I had it on in my zen.

I also want to know wat are d advantages of alloy wheels?

no real adv, just the looks. Wheel balancing will go bad after a slightly longer gap. But apart from aesthetic beauty, no real advantage.

@anshum- thanx

anytime bro!

For sun films two  great VFM brands come to my mind.

1.Llumar - For about 2500-3000 bucks for side windows and rear windshield glass

2.3M - Slightly higher up than llumar, but I see no difference in both.

Llumar silver series is good enough for our usual needs and does the job well.

Let me know if you need anything more.

Enjoy your ride!

For all technical information, Google their official website address and check it out. I guess it must be anything between 40-65%, not sure though.

The dealer is right in his own perspective. While getting work done from an after market dealer, make sure he uses couplers and plugs, which attach to the stock wiring and in no way tampers/cuts/alerters your stock wiring.

In this case, you will have to be very careful that no wires are cut and proper couplers are used at appropriate locations. It is a very common thing nowadays and shouldn't be an issue. Just go to an experienced installer who might be a little more expensive, but does the job well.

People in Mumbai should be able to guide you on the correct place for installations soon.

Workmanship is not a problem with good/reputed accessory shops.  They have the required expertise. They sell/fit much more than dealers do.  Accessories from outside would cost approx. 20-25% cheaper.
