Hey guys I have booked Ritz Vdi.

The delivery is expected around 25th Nov.

I have booked racing green colour.

I am going to drive my Ritz in Mumbai city streets.

My main query is about the accessories, I am surely not purchasing them from the dealer as they prove to be very costly.

I also have a good budget, I just want the list of necessary accessories which cannot be omitted 4 sure.

I am just purchasing mudflaps and taflon coating from the dealer.

I have gone through many forums here and finally registered at CarWale.com to be part of it.

So i need your help as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance

Even teflon you can get it done from outside.  But it's not required as such - it basically gives a wet/shiny look that gradually wears-off in 2-2.5 years.  The money can be better utlised - say, antirust treatment.

I'm not very conversant with accessory items - brands & pricing.  Others will be able to guide you better.  In the meantime, have a look at this link (& the links provided therein).

Hi Harsheesh, First Congrats for your new car. Racing green is a super cool colour.

Music system, i would say go for a 2-DIN type since the dashboard has 2-DIN slot. It will enhance the beauty of the dash.

Sunfilm, go for 3M, make sure the genuineness, ask to open the film cover only in your presence, and do ask for the warranty card.

Seat covers, since it has a blue fabric, you need to change it with a matching one. I got good quality art-leather seat covers (see my album pic) costing 6k. My experience with art-leather seat cover is not very great, considering i opted a good quality one. Heat is the major issue, and inside gets heated like anything while parked under sun. Now I realize fabric is better, so i suggest you to go for fabric one. And Ritz seats are cushioned enough and no need for additional padding.

Gear Lock - I don't think it's needed. Already car is equipped with ICATs and gear lock can spoil the looks too.

Alloy wheel - If you have the budget, go for it. Main advantage is looks, any average looking car gets a 'punch' with alloys. It will def make Ritz super cool. Another advantage is tubeless tires best suit for alloys. You may need a tire upgrade too.
