I don't agree with you.  If the FM transmitter is the cause of the electical jam, then that can happen while using cigarette lighter / mobile charger also because FM transmitter uses the same power point of cigarette ligher / charger.  As Sandeep said it could be a different issue for the electircal issue on your friend's car.

I cannot make you believe. I can only narrate my experience. Maybe what you are telling is correct. But I am just telling you what the mechanic told us. Maybe he was right, as he just opened the hood, and worked on some electrical cables and started the car. The car was an old Daewoo Maetiz

All the same, after that issue, my friend stopped using this apparatus and never had such a problem again. FYI he still owns that Maetiz!

Whether the aux cable is available in Blaupunkt dealer/service center at Pune?  If so I want to one for my Punto.  Is it possible for you to get one for me and courier it , if possible.?

I checked with TMC and presently the stock is not available and they would be getting it in a couple of days it seems.  However, I understand that even if I put that AUX cable, I can only connect  iPOD and not USB.  So whats the solution / workaround for USB?

HI Ramesh Unfortunately ther s no way you can connect a usb via this wire The only option is to trade ur HU

In that case I will manage with my FM transmitter it can transmitt signal to HU FM via USB / Memory Card / IPOD.

Yes you are right.  I can use FM transmitter to connect usb/memory stick and AUX cable for connecting iPOD / mobile  phones as well (if possible).
