I own Vista Qjd, I recently took the vehicle for second servicing  ie at 5000km. Shocked to see that the engine oil was very low when compared with the level to be maintianed. What would be the reason for drop in engine oil. Is there would be a problem in engine? I am concerned on this. And also service centre charged me for wheel alignment , Is wheel alignment charged in second service.

There would be 'normal' oil consumption of oil in all car engines. What you will have to look for are leaks.

Have a look underneath the car after overnight parking at home. There should be no oil stains on the ground under the car-if so take the car back to the service center.

Wheel alignment is not part of free service and will be charged.

hi sri,

i face the same problem. after through investigation, i found out that the service people will never fill it to the full during your service hence when you go for your next service you will find oil levels very low. this has happened to me several times. i had to top up from outside petrol pumps. TATA service ppl are wretched..!!
