Hi All,

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I already know about the ASS of fiat, My frd owns Palio for more than a year now. He had had lot many bad experiences in past though he says things have improved now, at the same time he never has any issues with Palio and gets 17km/l in Delhi. We travel evryday from Delhi to Noida taking Kalindi Kunj Road (Everybody in delhi knows the traffic scenario at Kalindi Kunj Bridge ).

Only thing making me attracted towards Swift is its feedback from it's users where I did not find much GP user reviews as its still new on road.

GP definately has more features than Swift but it still has to prove its reliability on road.

I think I will take another 2 months before I make up my mind. Mahesh and Anshum, Kindly keep us posted with your driving experience through this portal. Happy Driving

@ Mahesh, Naveen and Sandeep

Thanx for your kind wishes.

I just hope that I get the car by promised delivery date and that the dealer wont keep me on tender hooks by giving me the usual Indian "pakka tomorrow" style one liners.

Thats a tough one. I may not be in town on the D-Day! My dad or uncle might take the delivery and they are not the kinds to take pics. They arent really excited as its just another car in the family, but for me its like my car so the excitement levels are high!!

Ill post pics for sure when I get it home!!

Update:-

I was out with my dad to someones place, when I suddenly got a call from Fiat. "Sir your car is ready for delivery." - hah a day before than promised. Though he had told me he will try for Sunday, but I didnt expect early delivery.

I was more than excited! The time given to me was 12 noon today. I said ill reach, but he said okay come by 2, then you wont have to wait.

Anyhow after completing the work I was out for I reached the dealership at 315. As the Indian norms, the car wasnt ready and work was still going on. They did all the work and put in mud flaps and mats which took another half an hour. Paperwork was done, I was explained the Blue and Me by the sales manager himself, who even paired my phone.

At exactly 428pm, dad signed the dotted line, I was handed over the gate pass and at 430pm I was headed for the nearest fuel pump!

I was totally happy with my gleaming white punto mjd e+. I reached home, gave my mom a drive and went at least 7-8 times to the car just to sit in it and tinker with the settings.

Blue and Me is amazing and I received 4 calls on my way back which I answered and no one could tell im on handsfree!!! The clarity is awesome!

The handling and ride quality and suspension is just amazing!

I have not been able to click pics, I have an exam tomo. Have to rush will post pics and a nice review this coming week for sure.

Thanx to all those who aided my decision in buying the Punto instead of the competition!

Cheers!
