From your requriements:
Durablity : Can't comment on the Indigo. Fiat should hold up really well. I had a Palio for 5 1/2 years and not a single rattle from anywhere. Car felt as solid as it did when it was new. Swift, like most Maruti's is prone to rattles and build quality issues. My SX4 at 40,000kms is showing it's age.
Fuel efficiency: Don't worry about this. The difference is too marginal to make any difference. Swift should be most fuel efficient of these cars but then we need to remember that it's also much lighter then GP. My Grande Punto gives me about 17.5 to 18.5 kmpl (Last mileage was 19.9kmpl). Driving is 65% highway, 29psi on all tyres, ACC on all the time, max 2 passengers.
Resale value: Swift. Although, it's too early to comment on GP's resale I am sure it will not match Maruti's.
Maintainence : It should be th Swift although GP and Linea spares are extremely well priced. Here is a tip. Go to Fiat India's website, they have the full price list of GP and competition spares.
Looks: are subjective but for most it will surely be the Fiat Grande Punto.
Comfort: I am guessing Indigo. Tata owners can confirm.
I hope you know that the Swift's engine is BS-III compliant while the Punto's is BS-IV.
Instead of the Indigo CS, why don't you consider the Indica Vista?
Lastly, the Grande Punto pretty much outclasses every car in it's and even higher segments in ride quality, handling and steering feedback. If you like to drive, the Punto will probably give you the best time behind the wheel.
