Having loved my accent for the last 9 yrs, I am planning to check my engine as I am sometimes feeling the lack of power and the engine noise is audible inside the car.

I am especially feeling this from the time I got my new i10 Sportz which is very silent inside the cabin. Also the i10 is more zippier.

Can anybody help me where i can get my Accent Engine Checked? Guys from Hyderabad can Pl help me. Will the showroom guys take interest in my vehicle or private service centers like BOSH would be more helpfull. Also pl advice who would be more cheaper.

@Shekhar - don't open the engine unless it burns oil or produces smoke or gives low mileage. A car as old as 9 years cannot be expected to feel the same as a brand new one. Obviously after driving the new car fro a while, you're bound to feel uneasy in the older one. I don't think there's anything to worry about. Regarding noises - its the different bushes/mounts and joints that need checking. Rubber bushes/mounts tend to wear out over time and thus do not isolate the various joints effectively resulting in noise getting transferred to the cabin. These can be replaced - but it will be a time consuming exercise.
