mineral oil should always be changed after max 5-7k kms. 15k is too much and would definitely harm your engine in long run

Adam, the Linea and GP use Selenia synthetic oil and hence the 15K oil change intervals. In fact, in Europe, I believe the 1.6L MJD comes with 35,000 kms service intervals! Surprised

@ Sandeep : I drive Hyundai Accent was among the first Carwale member who was looking to buy the Punto when it was launched in June. I couldnt buy it due to some financial issues and heavy losses which I faced in the same month and brought a used 2002 accent from my mausi instead which is a well maintained car and not giving any issues ....touchwood...till now. I will however, consider again to be Punto owner in the coming year when my finacial issued will be resolved.

I deeply wish your dream come true much early than you expect. I'll look forward to hear back the good news . Meanwhile enjoy Accent and drive safe. It was good to know/meet you over here.

@ Yash, please take note of edit remark in your post above.

@ Sandeep, it seems you have missed the edit remark repeatedly - in your post 28 & 30 before (previous page).  The same is put again in your post 34 above. Please take suitably note of the same.

@ Pankaj:

I read it, but its just a bad habit of keep forgetting or genuine mistake. Will keep that in mind onwards and thanks for pointing out.
