Currently i am using Accent GLS (2000) Petrol. She has run more than 85K.

Now I am planning to upgrade to a slighlty bigger Sadan. My choices are

1. New Manza.

2. SX4

3. Verna

4. Used Civic

5. Used City

I am considering Used City/ Civic as my Budget should not cross 6L. I am expecting around 1.75 for my current Accent and so my net outgo is around 4.25L.

Appreciate if experts in the forum would give their sugestions. Planning to finalise within next week.

@ Shekar

The SX4 base variant will cost 7.89L on road in Bangalore,it will be available with a diff of 15k on either side in Mumbai. Considering your budget limit of 6l, this is ruled out, so is verna which will cost 7.67L on road here, so even this is ruled out. A new Manza mid variant  will be available albeit top end is priced at 6L plus ex-showroom. Either consider increasing your budget or look at other options.

                                                                                                                  Cheers.

Just checked up today. Preowned Civic 2006 1.8S MT = 8L and 2007 1.8V AT = 9 L.

Is this good price and to what extend I can Negotiate?

Civic you will find low in GC and a small manhole will scrap the lower portion of your Civic.

Never go for used laura as A.S.S of skoda is very bad and spares costly.

go for a new car as you will be saved from lots of hassel from the maintainance point.

go for:

Optra

SX4

Linea

Fiesta

Dear Shekhar, my choices are:

1. Used honda city- For driving comfort in city traffic and it's built quality.

2. Linea: Great look, great combination of size - price - features.

3. Used Corrola / Civic : For sheer pleasure and upgradation feel.

All the best.

Thanks Guys. That is helpful.

Sometimes I feel that I should trade my old Accent with a New accent !!! I love this old beuty!

I prefer a new Accent to an old Honda City.

What about New Manza. But I cannot wait for another 6 months to get a Manza ownership experiences.

Pl advise.

I have used my current Accent for 9 years and I would not be in a great hurry to sell my new car.

I would be using this car more for social visits as i am using my i10 for normal office commuting. (making more sense).

Instead of paying 9L to a used Civic, buy a brand new Linea. Why buy 2nd hand when you can afford a brand new?Surprised

Sachin, point well taken.

I was only looking for Civic because of the premium segment of Civic.

Linea may not be in the same class.
