Few suggestions

Firstly, I should admit that i have not read most of the suggestions soplease bear with me if I am repeating anything: -

1. There should be a prominent section on latest automotive news ont he front page. I know there is a section but for any one new, it is hard to locate. I personally feel that latest news headlines shuold be the first hing one notices on the homepage.
2. There should be a common id (if there is one already it should be displayed prominently) for every one, including non-memebrs to reach to MODs directly and convininetly.
3. Carwale can rope in existing members to do a review or test drive of new vehicles as soon as they are launched (very first day the review will be on this site). I know people already are doing so on their own and are posting their reviews as soon as possible. However, if we have a formal way of doing it, it would be better. The reason I am saying so, is that that there is a lot of excitement when a new lauch happens. That is  when a lot of people visit automotive sites and they tend to revisit sites that provide them with latest news/facts/reviews. So rather than waiting for a detailed Carwale review, if we could have people nominating themselves to review a launch on the very day, it would be great.
4. Last but not the least; if carwale could provide e-mail ids or contacts of customer service heads of leading brands for the users to contact in case of such needs, that will be very helpfull. Maybe Carwale itself can take a lead and offer to raise concerns with responsible personnel for people who really are in need. That way you can also filter out trivial issues which can be resolved at the dealer level itself.

I second these suggestions.

Also it will be helpful if there is any official feedback on the suggestions made in the past two months or so. If the feedback to suggestions remains neglected, the enthusiasm to offer suggestions goes down, so please have an official response on the suggestions available in a specific time duration, that can be declared officially in the announcement section

Of course, the feedback can be anything - accepted with plan/rejected with reasons, or reserved for future upgrades... But a feedback post appearing in a defined time from the suggestion posting is a must.

I like your suggestions, however, they all need a bit of further discussion before they can be considered final. I also request your further elaboration on #1 and #2.

I am in sync with you and can understand your frustration. We have been discussing various suggestions and have finalized upon a few. Ideally they should have been live by now but the reality if other way around.

All I can say is that we at CarWale are doing a few too many things amd hence the resources are well occupied. It doesn't mean that community is not in focus or being ignored but like many other developments on the site (Recommendation Engine, Valuation, Research etc), it's getting lesser resources than it should and hence delayed implementation. User handles (fixed usernames) feature is ready and should be live in first half of coming week. PM is the next thing we are implementing.

You and community can bash CarWale for this but this is the most honest confession I could make.

1. What i mean is that when a user opens www.carwale.com, then apart from other things he/she should see a section of automotive news. We do have one such section but I wish it could be displayed more prominently. May be have more dispaly area and/or is displayed before some of the other sections on the front page.
2. An Id like moderator@carlwale.com or admin@carwale.com etc. by clicking on these people can reach out to he mods quickly and conviniently.

By the way I have another small suggestion to ad to my wish list

For all the thread in our Forum (that brings me to this site more often, than anything else), if we could have the create new thread button at the top rather than the bottom. For new users there might be some difficulty locating it. I too have to use "search" option at times, as I dont really start a thread that often.

Finally, suggestion are not meant to be implemented right away. It is just my way of thinking. I do understand, and also want a proper discussion around every suggestion before it is accepted or rejected. You guys are doing a great job and I just wish to contribute my little bit to make this site even better.
