I  would like to know the procedure for getting sound deadening pads fitted in TATA Indica V2 DLS. Is it good to approach TASC ?

Secondly, my car has clocked 37000 KM in 3 years and 1 month. I have never driven the car at high RPM (that is above 3100). However, now a days whenever I go on ghat roads the vehicle struggles in slope and I am forced to push it beyond 3000 RPM in order to move. Is this good ? Can I drive above 3000 RPM at this stage by pushing the car. Also, the noise level above 3000 RPM is too bad. Kindly suggest something to over come this issue.

I dont see anything wrong. it costs about 3k.

would suggest you buy a gold club membership first. you should get a good discount on the deadening + other stuff.

You can drive at high RPM's without any issue. in fact, you should, to keep your cat con and exhaust clean. If you don't, the mechs will do it for you when you give it for service

Thanks for the info greenhorn !

You are my saviour always...you are the guru for anything and everything about Indica...

Can you tell me the cost of gold club membership ? Have you done sound deadening in your Indica ? Should I explicitly ask mechanics in TASC to clean cat con and exhaust ?

I know I am asking too many questions..But you are capable of answering everything

I think they do it as part of routine service

Thanks for this info greenhorn. I will approach TASC this weekend.

Do you suggest any maximum RPM at which I should stop accelerating ? What is the max RPM till which you have driven your car ?

I have a turbo - in that the torque starts falling off after 3500 RPM, so I dont go beyond there much
