suggest a best "hatchback"

Precisely, Hyuandi has long list of flops and few success stories to boast about. And the cars that have been a hit,phew!! It's unbelievable. Look around the road and count 1-20 slowly, you would have seen around 5-6 santro,3-4 i10 and accent by then.

I have few doubts reading those you may say 'why dnt u mind ur own business'. But I would like to know the mind-set.

Your Company is going to sponser the car. The Limit is 8L. Why then _only_ Hatch-back ? You are into the sales and company is sponsering the car, that means, you keep on travelling, then still a Hatch-back ???

You have n number of models with you ...  Why is that ? Having a deal with a company/dealer would make the purchasing of car easier, cheaper, and trustworthy....

well,  my requirements r :

exactly the same features of fiat punto - emotion pak.

1.3 diesel

abs

airbag

power windows

power steerings

central door lock

adjustable driver seat

audio controls on steering ( in emotion pak)

blue me ( in emotion pak)

tubeless tyres

alloy wheels

well, the actual budget is 7 lkhs only - the finalised price with punto's emotion pak model.

as we had some issues with fiat, we have come out and sourcing for other models.

i 120 falls in between 7 to 7.5 lkhs.

skoda fabia is also same.

and as we got the info about volkswagen's polo, now, it is also in the comparison.

this is how it goes.

and well, in my kind of profession, if i use big car, it will irritate my customers and will make them to think a lot. so, bigger car is ruled out.

atleast............. a hatchback will not disturb other's eyes.

but after finalising punto, i started looking the other models of same features of emotion pack.

Wait for Polo to be launched in early 2010

Wait till 2010 March . Polo will be launched . It will be much better than all hatchbacks . Only thing how VW is going to set up its network across India. Also rear space might be less compare to Fabia which is the most spacious car in hatchbacks.

 the indifferent attitude you received at the dealership towards punto can be understood,would you beleive that my dealer refused to give me a test drive even after booking the linea?(in chennai),but that's the dealership,where only the bussiness matters.the after sales service is entirely different,purely customer friendly,they will oblige you by all means and all ways,iam entirely satisfied with the ownership of a fiat car and i would suggest you to think again,because is there any other car(under 10 lakh rs) which has a better ride,build and handling than these fiat gems?

it is very much pathetic about ur test drive experience.

for me, we asked for a test drive and we got the car after 20 days.

after seeing that car, i slightly started loosing my confidence on punto.

door rattling noise, broken rear view mirror, one power window wasn't working and car full of dirt and sand. i asked for those issues with the sales person. he simply said, it is coming directly from ooty, after a test drive in ooty.

but, on sales part, i could be able to see more "linea" on road here in tirupur / coimbatore belt than punto.

anyhow, thanks for sharing some good infos.
