Why not upgrade to five 185/70 R14s? The Swift ZXi comes with five such alloy wheels and the fifth spare tyre fits quite easily in the spare wheel space.

before anybody else comes up with more suggestions lemme make one point very clear, i have already got my car and upgraded the tyres to 195/60 R15 Michelin Primacy LC and i am a completely satisfied customer as far as the tyres are concerned. but i dint get the stepney this month coz it wudnt fit into the budget. thaz all. i will be getting a stepney tyre of the same size. if at all it seems to bulge out rather annoyingly then i wud still keep it in the boot space itself but wid reduced air pressure and when the need to use it comes, i wud fill the air pressure to optimum usage specifications from the nearest tyre shop or petrol bunk.

Emi,

Car looks stunning with those hot wheels and spoiler, color is also suits your car. Front grill vinyl job and the Number plate is also looking good. Pioneer-HU looks awesome (whatz the model number?) Overall Great Job, well doneCool.

I cant see the tyre thread since its full of mudSurprised You need to put some mud-flaps soon!

In case of puncture, is it ok to drive your car with stock (stepney)wheel? Since the overall size of your current alloy wheel and stock wheel is all same, i heard that we can drive the car with stock stepney(R14") wheel along with R15/195/60 wheels. Is it true? Please confirm.

Also please let me know where did you done that vinyl job? How much it cost you for vinyl job and Spoiler+painting. Thanks.

Thanks for ur sincere comments Bprithvi. I really appreciate it. I wanted to get the sporty tread design for my tyres initially but then my tyre dealer told me that Michelin has stopped producing tyres wid dat design i.e. "the arrow shaped tread design". So i got myself this one. Sorry about the mud on the tyres buddy Laughing Once i get my angel lights installed i will take better pics and upload 'em i promise. These tyres have got an anti-skid tread design for better braking on wet roads + this tread design aids mileage it seems. I opted out of getting myself mud guards coz it would reduce the "glamour factor" of my tyres and hence my car. Anywayz i get my tyres and the arches cleaned too every wash so i wont be keeping mud guards. Pioneer model is AVH-P4150DVD and the front is not a vinyl job my friend. I got it re-painted from Indus Motors itself before the car's delivery date for 1500 bucks. The spoiler + painting cost me 3500 bucks. And yes even i heard that we can run on the stock stepney tyre incase of a puncture until we get to the nearest tyre change point. So i guess its true. The owner of the car accessory shop from which i got my alloys told me this and he also added that once a person drove from ernakulam to trivandrum (back here in kerala) i.e. nearly 280 kms with the stock stepney tyre and got the puncture fixed in trivandrum only once he got here. And even now he wonders how that customer did that. Even i was shocked to hear that. But now that u mention it, well yea, the overall diameter is the same. Then y not?!!! Smile That point though i knew it just happened to slip outta my mind at that point of time Wink
