I have actually done analysis on various cars and shortlisted the below. 1) Fiesta SXI - LTD Diesel. 2) Linea Dynamic PK Diesel. 3) Manza Aura with ABS Diesel. I really like Manza for its price and milage (only on papers). However I am little worried it is similar to Indigo which is not very good in my openion. I understand Manza has Fiat's engine, which is good. 1) Manza has only ABS and not EBD. Is EBD really needed? 2) I heard that Diesel version gives around 21 in highway and 18 in city. Is it true? 3) How is the interior quality? 4) Will Manza be the option for long time? (I do not have plans to sell it after few years). 5) Tuning radios of these cars are as below. Do they really matter? a) Fiesta - 4.9m. b) Linea - 5.55m. c) Manza - 5.1 m. 6) Does Chevy have diesel version too?

Fiesta - good car with nice dynamics but old and rear seat is cramped.  if you will have 3 passengers in the rear even occasionally, you should not condier Fiesta.  When you go for TD, make 3 peopl sit at the rear in all the cars and the best will be Manza followed by Linea and then Fiesta.

Linea - The solid build quality, excellent ride and handling combined with good roadgrip (195/60 R15 tyre of Linea compared to 185/60 R15 of Manza) makes it better than that of Manza. If you give importance ofr Looks, then manza just lokks like another Indigo and Linea has admirable looks.

Chevy Optra is a good car for highways as it is irritating to drive in City traffic due to it turbo lag and teds to be sluggish. But on highway, it is one of the best.

Suggest not to go for indica, indigo series.

I am surprised Manza is being compared with Fiesta,Linea and Aveo,Accent,Verna,Ikon,Dzire,Logan are not even considered.

That is right.

Manza is not in the calss of Linea, Verna and Fiesta.

I understand manza and linea are of two different classes. However When I compare Aura (ABS) Diesel with Linea dynamic pk, could not make much difference other than price. Ofcourse EBD is not in Manza, I am not sure how important this is in city traffic. Moreover Manza Aura (ABS) has blue&me ability and audio controls in streering which is a feature of Linea Emotion. Manza has better tuning radious(5.1) over linea (5.55). These things made me to think about Manza, though I have decided linea initially. But I am not sure the way I am comparing these two cars are correct or not. Expertise help required here please.

Congratulations Gerald. You made a good choice by going for Linea instead of Manza which has much better design, looks and roadgrip.

I read a roadtest of Manza recently and few points are

- fit and finish not good though has improved by leaps and bounds from first Indigo

- ride and handling not good at higher speeds

- mileage is poorer than Linea

- performance (though slightly better in 0 to 100) loses out completely in the useful range of 20 to 80 and 40 to 120

- but is a real VFM car

BTW, please check whether you will automatically be part of the "FIAT FIRST" program launched recently by FIAT India that comes with 24X7 Roadside Assistance program (similar to the one given by Honda).

Victor, Thanks for the information. Even I have done a test drive on Manza and immediatly decided to go for Linea though I have not test driven it. I am planning to write a detail review of Manza probably in a day or two.<\br> I guess my car will be delivered only after 15 days time. I am not sure how to enroll for "FIAT FIRST". Could you please throw some lights? <\br> <\br> Thanks, Gerald Leslie Jones.
