I dont think it fits in...

If you have plenty of spare time and you have lot of patience to deal with TATA ASS and Snags [consideration to be on the safer side owing to TATA tag attached...!],you can very well look into it...

Why consider something close to RISK!!!

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Hi Gerald,

I too had a huge confusion between fiesta and linea when i was looking for a best one... The turning radius matters in my honest opinion. In my experience, Fiesta does a good job in handling and turning. In TD'ed both fiesta and Linea, I loved fiesta. Just wait and TD linea and check out which turns out to be comfortable to you.

Linea also has less GC when compared to Fiesta which needs a consideration according the roads that you drive on.... The difference is 7mm which indeed is a huge difference as far as GC is concerned.

Unfortunately, I could not get a chance still to test drive linea this weekend. However I did test drive Fiesta last week and did not like it much. I guess Linea must be better than Fiesta. However I heard from Ford that, Linea's turning radios is 5.5m, whereas Fiesta is just 4.9m. I would like to understand, does it make big difference in narrow traffic? My parking space is little bit narrow(I need to get inside a pathway and take a left and both the ways are bit narrow). Can anyone please advise on this? Thanks, Gerald Leslie Jones.

@Gerald,

If you are looking driving pleasure in petrol car then fiesta is better than linea.

If you want something new sensational car then linea . But in both case the co has to do much on after sales service .

Other drawback of fiesta is its " small sedan" car with poor interiors.

That the reason i suggest to have a look on Aveo 2009 car before making final decision.

Hi Vs,

I am not sure which version of fiesta are you talking about. Its coming with biege one. Looking cool. For huge boot space, linea could be a best choice. For dirving pleasure fiesta FTW.

Dear Arun,

I have read your thread and have congratulated you for fiesta.

Nothing "for" or "against" any car, just my input.

I have actually done analysis on various cars and shortlisted the below. 1) Fiesta SXI - LTD Diesel. 2) Linea Dynamic PK Diesel. 3) Manza Aura with ABS Diesel. I really like Manza for its price and milage (only on papers). However I am little worried it is similar to Indigo which is not very good in my openion. I understand Manza has Fiat's engine, which is good. 1) Manza has only ABS and not EBD. Is EBD really needed? 2) I heard that Diesel version gives around 21 in highway and 18 in city. Is it true? 3) How is the interior quality? 4) Will Manza be the option for long time? (I do not have plans to sell it after few years). 5) Tuning radios of these cars are as below. Do they really matter? a) Fiesta - 4.9m. b) Linea - 5.55m. c) Manza - 5.1 m. 6) Does Chevy have diesel version too?

Manza is definetly VFM

But all newly launched tata cars have problems which are rectified over a period of six months atleast

For example see the vista

So it is better to buy manza after 6 months

Chevy does not have a diesel engine version

Comparision

Suggest not to go for indica, indigo series.

I am surprised Manza is being compared with Fiesta,Linea and Aveo,Accent,Verna,Ikon,Dzire,Logan are not even considered.

ebd is ELECTRONIC BRAKING DISTRIBUTION it transfers all the weight in the car equally to the tyres and so the car doesn't skit or go the one way while braking.you have a better steering control over the tyres while sudden braking.its a safety measure and depends on your route and requirement whether you need it or not.

yes the diesel gives this much of average when you shift the gears in propel and drive at constant speed of about 60km/hr

personally doesn't like tata cars so no comment on interiors and manza.

yes turning radius is somewhat important in city driving.

personally i feel you must go for linea as fiesta is outdated now.

thanx

correct me if i am wrong.
