Jerry, please give details of your case if you want people to give suggestions.
From what you have posted, I don't think a diesel car is required for your use - there is generally a price differential of ~50k+ between petrol and diesel variants of the same model, which is not recouped if the monthly run is low. You better stick to petrol, as 700 km/month does not justify a diesel engine.
Remember, Fiesta's interiors, though tasteful, are rather spartan. Fiesta will be better for driving pleasure, as it has a better spec'ed engine.
Linea will give you ABS, fog lights, music system, and will have better interiors and features for the same price, as it is a newer car. For an overall experience Linea is better, although it may feel underpowered. If you are a sedate driver, Linea will suit you.
Verna petrol is not very popular (I am yet to see one), but the diesel variant is popular for heavy highway use, as the VGT CRDI engine is powerful and makes for a nice highway cruiser. Not useful for you though.
