this is a strange problem, as in all other functions it works properly.

just checkout again that all the radio channels are stored & set in the system or only 98.3 & 104.6 fm is only stored.

by mistake only 2 channels would had been saved & others not.

if everything is ok than go to the fiat service & get it solved there.

Off track - can someone confirm if the 5th tire in e+ is with alloy/steel wheel? As im gonna get my delivery soon!

If I remember right (have not got hands on my Linea for a week), MID does not show Song names when I play FM in my Linea ICE. It shows song names only when played from CD or USB.

There are 2 FM bands in ICE - F1 & F2. I think when you're on last channel 6 & pressing next button on steering, the FM Band is changing where the next channel is stored as 98.3. Check the ICE display - there is a band F1 or F2 shown there in small letters

Since we have changed the topic to FM, i would like ask a question here. I'm having 1.2 Active. I added Pioneer 2190 later on. I tried to set the radio stations but except 98.3 (very bad quality reception) I could not get any other channel. But when I was in my native place, the reception of the local channel was very good. I live in Thane, so it absolutely necessary for me to have the antenna for FM? What will be the cost?

Only when 98.3 Radio Mirchi is playing that you can see song names along with "Now Playing XXXX" or "Coming up Next XXX". This started from Friday. Ironically, the same time the steering control's problem started.

Yesterday there has been a deviation in the problem. With steering controls, I can toggle from 91.1 (Memory 1) to 98.5 (Memory 5). After that when I give one more press the system skips Fevar 104.0 (Memory 6) and goes straight to 91.1 (Memory 1).

Also, blue&me keeps dropping the connection with my phone. The pairing happens automatically but within a couple of minutes the connectivity breaks and I get the "No Bluetooth" message on my MID.

I am hoping that disconnecting the battery and re-connecting again will solve this issue. Let's see how it goes.

That's a bit disappointing.

@ Sandesh, Why is it disappointing? Most cars spare wheel is steel wheel. It's only on the SX4 that I got all 5 alloy's.

The Blue&Me issue that I reported above is sorted out. The connection has held steady for the past two days, maybe there was some issue with the phone for that one day. But, the steering mounted control's are still playing it odd. Even today the car skipped Fever 104 FM altogether and jumped to 91.1.

I tried 98.3 Radio Mirchi [Bangalore]/other FM stations in my Fiat Linea's music system.  It did not show the name of the song being played.  Only for CD/USB, it showed the name of the song being played. 

Ravi does the MID flash "Radio Mirchi 98.3 ......It's Hot!" on the screen? In my Punto, this message flashes on the MID as well as on the stereo screen. I guess this is probably Mumbai Radio Mirchi specific.
