Hi,

I'm planning to buy my first car. I don't really have much knowledge about everything that's involved in maintaining a car and hence prefer your suggestions. I am hoping to go for a petrol/LPG duo as i've heard its very economical and affordable.

After a lot of thought, i have shortlisted 3 cars,

1) Maruti Zen Estilo VXI BSIII W/ ABS
2) Tata Indica V2 Xeta LPG GLS
3) Chevrolet Spark LPG 1.0 LS

Sortlisting has been done based on advises from my friends(Car owners), reading reviews and blogs. The basic cataegory that i'm looking for is the budget, pre and post purchase that includes mileage and maintainance cost.

As i have read the reviews that the Spark gives me power windows, power stearing along with ABS, i somehow feel its a better option. But some folks have suggested that its a little congusted at back, and 3 people cannot sit comfortably... this has put me in doubt.

Can someone please advise?? Can you suggest me to go for a Diesel Car if my overall running is <500 kms per month?

Rohan

For ur usage petrol makes sense

Ritz petrol suits ur requirements perfectly.

I would avoid cng or lpg for u king of usage

Ritz is very fuel efficient

Even then petrol would be the best opition.

Cng/Lpg can be considered when ur usage is around 1000Km and above

Well. I think Rohan is looking for a 5 seater.

@Rohan, Please tell us the anticipated percentage of time your car will be occupied by 5.
