Pankaj. so even your driving buds started tickling now.Wink..Hope you are able to find someone to accompany you. i think it should take around 12 hrs from Bhavnagar to Mumbai

That's always there; tickling-tickling.  I have travelled once before on the route - it took me almost 11 hours (approx. 700 kms).  If I really drive down to National Meet, Bhavin & Kiren can always join me, and you can at least come up to Vapi to join Wink

Steeriod, thanks for the update & those links.  My friend & I recently drove Nano from Bhavnagar to Rajkot (175 kms).  It’s indeed a Superstar for its size, comfort, performance and pricing.  I will upload photos later (it’s in the friend’s camera) in the CW Album & provide a link.

Abyshines/Krishna, any update on your driving plans?

LOLs Karan: Majore cities like as far as I know from Mumbai on NH 8 are VAPI/SURAT/VADODRA & Ahmedabad & furthur on Udaipur Ajmer,Jaipur & many small towns around. Can just google the Map. These town are distant enough to have a refill. SO dont worry guys. Just keep few Hrs extra if you want to continue on CNG.

Few of my friends did Mumbai Leh recently in  TATA SUMO GRANDE. & according to them the Highway is perfect. This is Just to encourage you Karan.. Cheer up....

Pankaj: Infact I would love to join you from AhmedabadWink.

Things are looking great. BTW Anshu/AMI hope you start a thread from HYD to MUM. I am sure Anshu will never leave his Black beauty behind. All these road journy will givs us enough MASALA of their experience.

That reminds me... we all can discuss our driving plans, if any, to National Meet in this thread itself - it's renamed.

Hope these plans itself are exciting enough to attand the meet.

BTW Feroz (in ref. hereto); I am only scard of one thing.....The regional meet will already been held in each car from each state by the time they reach Mumbai...LOLS so this will serve a purpose.Surprised

he he he....definitely am going to drive rather than take a bus or train or plane And yes am thinking of getting Ami along with me. But seems he is away from forums. I know he went to Banglore last weekend and suppose he got stuck there due to floods. I too got stuck but could manage to get out by leaving my car in banglore and flying to hyd. I will call him today if he does not respond today.

Abyshines/Krishna, any update on your driving plans?

Still hopeful that dates dont clash with my previous engagements...

@Satish: If things turn out as in this thread, I will have to withdraw my statement.

I am tempted to ask this question...

" Any body there for a drive to Mumbai from Kerala?"Tongue out
