Prasad, I didn't shared my contact number earlier for the same reason. I understand your concern, however I just wanted to inform Kartik.

Thanks!

Oh yes, I understand.  I think I should have drafted my post a little differently Smile

I clarified only so that no one posts or asks for contact details - and I did that in the other thread too.

Thanks for offering help to Kartik.  Satish & Naveen too have volunteered such help (you must have noticed in the other thread).  The concern is mainly for members (2-3) who will be arriving in the morning of 19/12 - to guide them & help them move fast.

I see no reason for Kartik to wait till 19th dawn to start from Pune. He can scoot off his office at ~4 pm on Friday, take a shared taxi to Sandeep's place (arrange to meet him enroute through phone), and take him along to the boot camp location - will be nice if these two guys also join us for the Friday evening.

Wotsay Kartik, Sandeep? (BTW your user ID is a nightmare to remember spelling of Tongue out)

Kartik update your phone on the CarWale profile, so it gets included in the circulation list for coordination.

Sorry for the late response,

Well, i'll be coming on my own i guess( unless anyone else plans to join me by plane/train). My perents would never allow me to be a part of the Drive. So no point arguing,Sealed

Well, Chicken Little, glad to know you will be attending.Smile

Now our task is more difficult, as we cannot include you in the crew list for our own permissions at home. But let's keep our fingers crossed and wait a few days till Aby confirms.

PS: Karan, is that an Alpha Romeo in your signature? You might want to change it looking at this news!

It's perfectly alright Karan - we cannot displease our family.

Krishna, I feel you & Abyshines should finalise immediately. I'm saying so because just in case you people feel driving down to Mumbai may not be feasible (only 2 of you), you will need to buy train/plane tickets right away - else, reservations could be a problem.  And in that case, you 3 would obviously prefer to travel together.

Kartik will now be coming from Pune.

Let us share here the time & mode of our arrivals...

I will be reaching Mumbai on 18/12 (Friday) by 4-5 p.m. by my car & will come straight to the Flat at Nerul/Navi Mumbai - booked by Banwari especially for out-station members.

I didn't mention about members joining me, thinking that I should leave something for them too to share in this thread Smile

I will be leaving Bhavnagar after office hours on 17/12 (Thursday) & reach Vallabh Vidyanagar/ Anand (daughter/relatives) by 9-10 p.m.  Stay overnight & start next day morning at 7-8 a.m. for Mumbai.  In the process (break at Anand), I will be reducing my driving hours on 18/12 from 12 to 8-9 hours.

Regarding return journey, I would prefer to bid good-bye to all from Khandala itself at 12-1 p.m. so as to save some time & reach Baroda in the night (in-laws) by 9-10 pm.  Next day early morning will travel back to Bhavnagar - will be in Office by 11 am.

@ Satish, if you travel/drive on 21/12, we can start together.
