I would really love to attend this meet but can't confirm yet. Meeting all the car enthusiasts will be a very good experience!

Well  there is still more than a month left. I have started rescheduling all my schedule to plan for escaping in the 18th to 20th period. Hope I can make it!

We can understand.  There are a few people who are eager to participate but are not in a position to confirm as of now due to their profession (type) / commitments / tight schedules.

Our request is... please try & adjust/confirm as early as possible.

Guys (Specially Mods and Organizers)

Its now the high time we start discussion/finalizing all the general instructions, rules and regulations, dos and donts in the meet. Specially because we would have ladies (and probably kids) as well with us in the trip. No offence met to anyone but I think there should be a official guideline in place. Just my thought

Also, lets also finalize the movement from Vashi to Alibaug which includes, no of cars, who all are bringing the cars, other necessary things we need to carry...etc...etc

This will help us avoid too many cars taking with us and hence saving fuel, and also we can plan alternatives in case there is a last minute break-down or drop-outs and hence avoid any incovinence. This way we can plan and enjoy our trip to the fullest.

What say guys??

Some of the posts on travel plans have been relocated herefrom to another/relevant thread.

@ Anshu, yes it's time to decide on finer aspects & details.  We will soon do that - here in the thread itself.

Edit:  As far as no. of cars are concerned, I feel there would be approximately 10-12 cars amongst a total group of 30-32 (expected).  Though not more than 8 cars (8x4=32) would be required, but IF members desire there is no harm in driving all the cars to Alibaug.  It will be fun for all.  The distance isn't much - will not turn out to be expensive.  Just a personal opinion.

No Lukka-Chuppi for sure - we can't afford Smile

Satish, thanks for being so helpful - as always.  I guess other locals too will have to come forward - not all but at least a few - and I'm sure they will volunteer.

Neeven dont worry. Your Punto will never miss my GOLDEN TOUCH.Smile BTW did you get yuor car? do let me know. IF not hope you get it soon.

Banwari/Pankaj also suggest if can managge MAP from all Importent NH for the members  to Vashi up to Alibaug for some one who for some reason is not able to join us early., I really dont know how , but if  can be done will certainly help many here to make things easy. I am also aware that following NH is not difficult here.

With local members there isn't any problem. Most of outstation members will be reaching Mumbai a day in advance on 18/12 (afternoon/evening) - so there shouldn't be a problem for them too - also because they will probably be putting up together at Vashi.  Only 1-2 people will be reaching in the morning of 19/12 - but luckily quite early - so they too can make it in time (we will help them move fast). We all will be assembling at Vashi, at CW Office at 9-9.30 a.m., and will proceed together therefrom at 10-10.30 a.m. for Alibaug.  In case of need, we can make necessary arrangements & adjustments.
