National Meet (CW Forums) at Mumbai on 19-20/Dec/09 (details at post 96 - pg10)

Travel/driving plans (including local) can be discussed in this thread.

@ Rajendra, National Meet is still a month & a half away.  Besides, being a local member (Mumbai), you need to spare only a weekend - Sat/Sun(half).  I think you can plan/adjust.

I get that feeling it's just that I'm not sure. If I feel I can make it, will call up and see if there's space.

And sure my car can steal the show too...she's eight years almost but packs raw power like no other car around.

Very nice to see this happening.  Can we list the objectives of this meet?  As per the invitation I understand the following.

1) To meet online Carwale members.

2) Visti to CW office

3) Having fun.  

Any thing more constructive can be added?

I am a professional photographer, I can make some contribution if it works. 

4) Autmobile Photography - Tips.  90 - 120  minutes. Suitable for any kind of camera you have.

Come on Guys, last 5 days to go. Come and participate in this event and make it a big success. I can still see so many old members still to respond. I would request them to try and make up to the event. And this doesnt mean that new members are not invited. They should also take a call and participate accordingly.

Though there is no fixed meeting agenda as such. The idea of the meet is to bring all of us together and interact with each other.

Pankaj im still awaiting location of the chosen bungalow, Most probably we might go directly to panchgani from there so incase if there are more passengers with me I can book rooms at the nearest hotel.

I agree with you, think of something which will make participants from farther distance to feel worth traveling all the way, so it will be an advantage for future meets.  The enthusiasm to see each other and to exchange knowledge will work better.

I know, it shouldn't be like just register and attend the meet, I must at least virtually know few members well so that it will be fun.  I will try my best to be active.

I did notice Edit remarks, its good to avoid links, will try to post few photographs directly on the forum.
