Adam, thanks for confirming your participation.  Your name has since been appended in the list of participants - in the master thread created for the National Meet.

Regarding your friend, as discussed before & mentioned the 1st post of the master thread, friends are invited provided they are active members of this forum. 

Pankaj, He is not very active online, Maybe once he visits the meetup may change him?? :P. Anyway please finalize on whether I can bring him along or not. Thanks.

No offence meant but I think it would be difficult - given the stand we have taken - we can't change it from case of case (we have denied earlier) - you can understand/appreciate. 

I request if he can participate in the forums - National Meet is still almost 2 months away. If he does so, we can do one thing... accomodate him (& others like him, if any) even after the last date of confirmation is over - say by 30/11/09 (as a special case).

The invitation is open & clear.  I don't see any reason for you to withdraw

Its really sad to see that he simply withdrew for refusal for his friend entry.  Its clearly mentioned about the friends but guys dont understand it.

Any how my reservation is confirmed and I shall be coming on 18th Morning.

Can you suggest me a hotel.  I normally stay at Atithi at Andheri East.

I shall be reaching Mumbai on 18th Dec by Rajdhani and have made the booking for return on 21st Dec by Rajdhani.

I am bringing my wife along with me.

I am not comfortable meeting a group of strangers thus if my friend can accompany me.. well and good (Pankaj if you can tell me where the bungalow is located, I can try to get mine&his accommodation done at a nearby hotel) If he is not ready then I would have to scrap this whole meet up thing.

And Praveen I am not the one who would cash in for those "Free" stuff. I just didn't think that getting a buddy along would create such a mess. Please think twice before you type in such offensive comments.
