Could you put up the date, venue and program/agenda on a separate (preferably locked) announcement, please?

I was a bit confused myself and had to run through a bunch of pages to find out.  This thread is great for a discussion, but is not very useful for someone looking for information about the meet itself.

Keep those wheels turning!

Okay.  In the meantime the thread is renamed - post 96 added (other details existed).

By the way, there's a thread running concurrently on Driving/Travel Plans for the National Meet.  Please participate therein too.

A couple of travel plans/queries posted herein above have since been relocated in the said thread - here is Feroz/Binoy's & here Roadster's.

I suggest one session with top 3 posters by count could review 5 threads of their own choice, and recall how it progressed, and to what end. These threads can be informed in advance, offline to Banwari, who can then get a suitable PPT prepared with links embedded to visit the threads themselves, for ready reference,

We can beam up the PPT using a projector (Projector can serve multiple purposes, so Banwari HAS to arrange one).

It will be nice fun to relive with some spicy commentary some threads that were sooo interesting (Remember one CEO Rahul? Laughing) I  don't mean to make fun of the dear departed, but even otherwise there are so many very interesting threads (10k of them, so who knows what gems are hidden therein...)

Would like MODs to be on this list of speakers, unless they specifically opt out.

Another totally unrelated idea (I am only half certain about this one, though) would be to invite past moderators and star contributors, who are not currently very active to this meet.

Wotsay folkz?

Bhusan was a Moderator earlier (Aug 08 to Dec 08) - prior to Binoy (Jan 09 onwards) - but for some personal reasons Bhusan could hardly participate as a Mod, and he ultimately left.

All the past contributors by & large continue to be a part of the Forums as of date also - except one/two.

One suggestion from my side: anyone who knows palying musical instrument like guitar, casio or anything that is easily carry-able could get the same and we can have bon-fire at night(read it late night ) on 19th.

Even if we can somehow arrange few common music instruments, it would be great. I am sure many of us would be able to play something or the other. However, we always have work-around of having a music system which I am sure would be there by default

Dear Rajshekhar,

You are most welcome in the meet. I would request you to participate in other threads as well so that we know one another well.

On inviting your friends, please go through a few older posts and you will know why it's a bad idea to invite them.

Guys.

I think the count has reached almost 20 now which is a fairly decent no for a meet. We definitely intend to have more people in the meet but the intention is to have people that can relate to forum rather than just increasing the count.

I feel the forum meet is exclusively for forum members and not CarWale visitors in general. We could have put some kind of post-count constraint for the meet-attending eligibility but that will not serve the purpose.

Hence I would request everybody to join the forum first and start interacting with people before showing interest in the meet. Also, I would like to clarify that we mods will have final say as who will join and who will not.
