Hi Guys

Thanks for you responses. I will be taking the test drive for both the vehicles by this weekend.

What i am looking for is not an offroad vehicle. I will be mainly driving in City. Present owner of Hyundai accent and bought an I 10 in june this year. Thanks to you guys for finalizing my decision between (Swift and i10)

I am bored of driving Sedans and want to have a different vehicle. Can't say which vehicle to buy Budget (8 - 9 Lacs) that's the reason am seeking help from you guys. My adjective is not to harm anybodies feeling, However to take a right decision and to make some good friends.

What I am looking for in my Car is -

1) Comfort and Styling

2) Power and Smooth handling

3) Mileage.

After my TD will throw some tantrams to you guys to Solve...ThanksLaughing

Since the drive is mostly pertaining to city. Scorpio will be the front runner.

I second Ami. Scorpio is better in city than safari due to its less turning radius. And as Roadster suggests, go for mHawk...the looks, the power and the ride is awesome

Hi Guys

I had a test drive of the 2 Indian beast. And I think i will go with the Mightty Muscular Mhawk. However am confused with which variant.

Major dissapointment as i love scorpio in White, However the variant i want to go with is LX and it doesn't comes in WHITE. Is sle worth the price. Its over 1Lakh difference and over my budget too.

Please suggest...!!!

I have no experience of these cars. However:

Someone I know well and has owned BOTH tells me the Scorpio is better.

My opinion is the premium for SLE is just not worth it. After all you are getting basically the same vehicle, but with minor embellishments.

It is mean of Mahindra to leave out the rear demister/defogger in a vehicle costing 7.5L - That and the rear wash wiper are two things that can't be conveniently retrofitted

With these two exceptions, all the other extra features in SLE are 1)not necessary 2) if required, can be easily bought from aftermarket.

I suggest you go for the LX only. No point in squandering money unnecessarily, particularly it is not in the original budget.
