Going to buy my first car - suggest me between Estilo Zen / Wagon R or else

Hello Friends,

I'm going to buy car for my own for first time and so i've little technical knowledge.

I'm interested in buying car around 4 lakh INR.

I'm impressed with Maruti Estilo Zen VXi.

But confused between it and Wagon R VXi.

And i've also heard that Maruti is going to launch new model of Wagon R in late 2009 or 2010.

Can you advice me should i wait for that new model of Wagon R or buy estilo/wagon r rightnow?

Will there be major changes in new model?

Or estilo VXi is best option for me even if they release new model, estilo will be better or as good as new model?

Please advice me guys.

I'm going to order for car tomorrow.

Why not consider Ritz. It is a good car with good power and pickup.

In my personal opinion, out of Estilo and WagonR, go for Estilo since it will give you better pickup than WagonR.

Do Test Drive both the cars before selecting though.

I would say go for the I10

B/W Wagon R and Estilo, Estilo is definitively better because it has new K series engine. But not much discounts on Estilo. Wagon R new model-  will definitely come but nobody can say for sure when. Whether it will be better than New Estilo, nodody can say unless some details abt new Wagon R are available.

Another thing is that Estilo Vxi has more features than WagonR Vxi.

I am a new user on this website, I am also looking for a new car, I have taken look at each and every mid-segment car that is awailable in Indian market. With maruti everything is good just dont understand why they cannot give space in car.

Estilo 2009 is thin & no leg room behind, as a medium built person, its not a good car for me, that goes too for wagon R.

As you have mentioned that your budget is upto 4lacs, why dont you go for India Vista (pertrol). Have some good reviews about that car plus top end version (fully loaded) is available in your budget.

I am not a car expert, but I am in the same situation, if you have any more suggestion for me I would love to have them & then decide on buying a car.

Why dont you go for a Spark LS (3.24 Lakh) test drive. You'll also get confused as i am between Estilo LXi and Spaerk LS.

Furst ofall go only for suzukis/marutis product .they need less maintenance.

Wait for another 6months new wagon-r is going to be launched with better engine .that is k-series engine which will give u more mileage as compared to the existing wagon-r.

Check out the new wagon r model by searching google.

Its nice ofcourse manny changes will be done in it since its been launched in japan considering japanese taste.

Sinse then hold ur decision .

Or another option is i 10 magna only- it has kappa engine made of alluminium. Gives 15.5 mileage in city and 19  in highway .costs 3.90 after discounts in dl.

Nice stable car as compared to estilo.

Cool sliding dashboard.power windows /ac/stearing.

H! Wait for new wagon -r or u can see it while searching on google suzuki has already launched it in japan but yes there will be manny changes done for launhing in india.

Expext it within 8 months.

Or best car in maruti is ritz go for it .go for lxi model

K-series engine

Very stable stylish comfortable in city as well as in highway.

13km/ltr in city and 16.2 in highway.

Overdrive has given it nos1 segment car as compared to other hachbacks.
