If someone is using a petrol car happily, he will always recommend a petrol car. Presently, Diesel cars are too good. Less noisy with good power & pick-up. Test drive and see if power is less or better? Very simple

Personally, I have experience of 2 diesel cars 1. Indica DLG (non turbo) & 2. Ford Fiesta TDCi.

1. Indica DLG: Used for almost 3 years and 52,000 kms without any major problem except some body noise.

2. Ford Fiesta TDCi: 50,000 kms done. No problem at all, Engine noise is still very low (Infact better than other Fiesta's because of Good driving & Regular Service).

As far as maintenance is concern, normally we paid around 1900/- for the Indica.

Fiesta: Maintenance is cheap. Highest we paid 3400/- for the service of 30,000 kms. For 40,000 kms service we paid 2211/- & Yesterday for 50,000 kms service we paid 2000/-

Still Fiesta's engine is as powerfull as new one.

I would like to add, 50,000 kms done and still original brake pads. Service guy told me, it needs to be replaced now 2mm left and asked when u replaced it? I told him not yet. And he was amazed.

@ nishanth,

dont worry or think much the more ull think the more ull get confused.

if u like the vista quadraget than just go ahead & buy one, it is a very good car & if u want more style & passion to it than grab the indica vista 1st anniversary edition model.

it is just simply superb.

@Nishant,

After taking inputs from all people takes their own decision based on their needs, liking etc.

Expensive diesel cars design so that the noise is minimised and Fiesta is one.

I meant Fiesta diesel car compared with Fiesta petrol car, compare the noise!!!!

Swift diesel car and Swift petrol car, compare the noise!!!!

Its an input from my side, I am not suggesting to don't opt for diesel.

Hi guys,

Thank you all who have helped me in taking my decision. I have decided to go for quadrajet vista aura. Now the next step where I need your help is how to book the car. I mean what kind of precaution I need to take to book the car, precaution in terms of documents and payment. I know the link of PDI by bhardwaj but I want to know in short.

I would also like to know the offer that is available in your town. Currently in Ahmadabad I am getting insurance free and will get some accessories free around about for 3k(please suggest this too which should I go for in this list).

I would also like to know your preferred color from the available list.

Thanks in adv.
Nishant.
