I want to sell my current car (1 yr 8 months with 23 thousand kms and good condition).
Wanted to know whats the market practice valuation.
1) Is it based on the Ex-Showroom price ? or
2) RTO and Octroi expenses must be excluded from depreciation?
3) How much is the depreciation each year ?
4) Also depreciation should be calculated based on year of manufacturing or year of registraion ?
My car is 2007 make but registered and used in Jan 2008.

Thanks

Hey,

While expecting a decent price for a new car, pls follow the used car valuation of carwale.

Hope the car u r selling is not rumoured to be phased out. If yes, the prices fall further.

Regards,

Vinay Pillai
