Hi Karthik,

I compared the prices of Indian Decars Banjara with Himayathnagar, yes, you are right the prices are on higher side at the Banjara one.

Damping with Dynamat on 4 doors will cost you 7k and if only around the speakers it's Rs 1250 (2 doors).

The guy of Banjara suggested me JBL 609c / Fostgate Prime R1652s/ Pioneer TSD1270c.

Amplifier JBL GTX 646.

Polk Audio got some Distributor issue, can be a problem with technical support at later stages.

Suggest me if the above named that will go well with SQ.

Thanks

Are you upgrading the rear door speakers also?

If you aren't upgrading the rear door speakers then get the front doors damped as of now.

My vote goes for JBL 609c.Anyways let your ears judge it.Definitely JBL GTX 646 is a good amplifier. You can go for it.By the way how much did the himayath nagar guy quote for the amplifier and components?

My advice for you is to go for components in the front doors and a subwoofer(JBL 1100W-Rs.3600),both will be running on the amplifier.Leave the rear door speakers as it is.When your budget permits go for rear door speaker or 6*9 ovals on the rear parcel tray which will finish your setup. It's just my advice and the rest id up to you.I am thinking upgrading to the above setup in 2 days.

Not planning to upgrade the rear door speakers for now.

AmpsGTX 646- 6.5 (H Nagar) 6 ( Banjara Hills)

SpeakersGTO 609c - 4.2k  (H Nagar) 5.2 ( Banjara Hills)

I am also thinking about Infinity Ref 6530cs. Any idea how's that?

Let me know your combinations once you get it done. I will probably do it next week.

Moreover, what difference does 2 ohm vs 4 ohm impedance make in terms of sound clarity and amps performance? As I have heard and read 4 0hm speakers are suggested for car.
