modification on suzuki ss80 (the oldest 800)

I think for cars to be considered vintage, the cut-off is around 1950 - so most likely two of your cars fall in that category - the date for bike is different - but not in '70s for sure. The section 58 or 59 of Motor vehicle act does outline some details on these but do not mention the specific details - which is why it is possible different RTO (different within state?) have different schedule.

Further, I think the rule is after 15 (or 20 years), they give you short term (1,3,5 year) registration and one has to do the emission test most often.
As always RTO information are harder to find, even when you go there – and does have some “interpretation” flexibility

   I bought ss80 paying 40000/- with everything original in it, few things are changed

 i can get those ss80 parts from bangalore jc road paying bit extra, like i have paid 410 for dicky shocks, u can get ss80's parts from delhi, if not japans atlest som local made which is made for ss80

u can get the parts from delhi autoshops

i too owned a Suzuki ss80 1985 model in a good condition and recondition it. it finally cost me around 70k. its engine is in really good condition and driving it is really awesome. and past week i bought another SS 80DX in mint condition for 60k. I am abig fan and love driving it.

Iam Amit I still own a ss80 which is in very good condition and expensive, yes u can buy ss80 and get it restored in hyderabad becoz iam in hyderabad, parts are hard to find. i bought a stock of available parts. if u need them contact me i find a ss80 in good condition
