Emoticons and Smileys

Dont you guys think that we need some more emoticons and smileys to help post our emotions? The ones available are quite good, no doubt. But as the membership and posts are increasing, the different types of emotions are also increasing. I would suggest for few more smileys or smoticons to be added. For example, LOL, ROFL, Dancing, pulling hair..etc. There is a quite big list, actually

Also, could this add-in be made more responsive in terms of posting it. I feel its quite slow when you want to put it in there in your posts. However, that may depend on internet speed too. But I feel there is a scope of improvement.

And currently when we type the keywords or keystrokes for smileys from keyboard, I guess only for "smile" and "grin" come up after we save our posts. Others, are just displayed as what he had typed. If this feature could also be enabled.

Yes, Anshu, I too second this suggestion of yours. We really need those emoticons here, sometimes I miss them terribly here.

Very nice suggestion. Thanks for bringing it up. I had been thinking about it since long.

We should extend out list of emoticons and also the parser should be improved.

Basic emoticons like ';)' are not parsed and converted.

Just came across a few.  They are too big & may not be appropriate but am just experimenting if I could insert it here, or not ....

Hey Pankaj how about some unique emoticons. What I mean, when you will look at them you will know its specially designed for Car lovers / enthu. Just my two cents.

It's easy to find some good open-source emoticons on the web and use but even I feel that we should design our own ones which are absolutely unique.
