I have spoke to one service station and the mistry over there said that the carburator need to be cleaned. Is that so? Or just the catalytic convertor cleaning will do.

Indica Turbo (any diesel car) does NOT have carburator.  The mechanic seems to be a 'mistry' (carpenter) Smile

Cleaning the catalytic convertor will help.

Edit: Sorry greenhorn, I didn't notice your post while typing/posting mine.

Sorry  guys, i mean the silencer not the carburator.

The mechanic also told that after 30k kms the silencer needs to be cleaned because of carbon clotting happens inside.

Pls suggest.

Silencer as well as Catalytic Converter (discussed in post 10).  Get these cleaned/serviced.
