The NHC suffers very badly from low ground cleance alongwith soft suspension and long wheel base ,what it means in real life that you need to slow down on all big and small speed breakers so your power will not get you anywhere as quickly as the SX4 will do on Indian roads.NHC is designed for shorties esp back seat and in comparison SX4 back seat is a real luxury. So I strongly recommend you to wait for the tweaked version of SX4 which will come by Diwali.

Linea petrol is very low on power ,Linea Diesel is somewhat better but power is not enough for a large sedan and it finds overtaking very difficult esp at slow speeds.

about linea, that's totally wrong about linea's power, the on paper bhp stastics is different from onroad behaviour, yes, its large and not the quickest off the block from 0km,but above 20km,it has enough power to overtake and in fact is faster than any other car in the segment to reach 100km speed from 40 km speed, one should drive before passing a judgment

All if u are taking it to race track u along with performance u need good handling, high speed stability, less air resistance, good aerodynamics, less body rool, high safety standards and others if i missed any.

If u consider also these then Linea has the edge in most of these.

Racing is not only performance but also the above factors

well said bhardwaj, even i dont understand why verna diesel and anhc petrol have such powerfull engines when their body can not cope up or handle, verna's tail simply spins off and rides like a boat and anhc is so softly sprung that it's doubtfull if anyone will try the speeds on the speedometre
