@ sharath,

baleno is a very good car.

get the car checked by ur mechanic & see if there are any mechanical faults or so & if the car is perfectly fine than u can go ahead & buy it.

price seems to bit high but than too checkout with ur city dealers.

Thanks for the advice.

I have another option.

Baleno only.but its a basic model.Model is 2005,it ran 30000 km and no alloy wheels.

Sellers expectation is 3.50 lack.

Which one should i go for?

Does differenec of 30000 km makes a huge differenec  between these two options?

I am confused.

PLease help me out.

30000 kms does make a difference....the engine wear and tear is relatively less...tyres shall be in a better condition and damage to other moving parts will also be less...

In effect 30000 kms would mean car has been driven atleast 1.5-2 years less!

@ sharath,

yes that 30,000 kms makes a difference, but it also depends on how the car is maintained. if u are ok with bit less features than go for the lxi model & if u want more features & if that other car is in good shape & problem free than go for it.

get both the cars checked by ur mechanic & see what he says.

& abt alloy wheels that u can get it fixed from outside also after buying the car. but some features like rear defogger, rear spoiler & a few more ull not get in the lxi. they will be there only in the vxi.

Stay away from a modified car(first one). This 2006 registered car has run 20,000kms every year.

Thats a high mileage and the chances of poor maintenance are quite high.

Free flow headers and the aftermarket exhaust would have been done by some one who would have an 'aggressive' driving style.

Hi Sharat,

My sugessition will be to buy a  well maintained car which has run just 30000. additional 30000 means the vehicle will come for maintainance for 2lac kilometre.

The stearring wheel modified means the stearring column and the bearing could have worn out.

the price quoted for the modified car is 1lac higher than the market rate. suggest u to but the doctor driven car
