I'm back after a good 9 days of break. Enjoyed thoroughly driving the car. Here is the quick update on the distance and the timings.
Onward journey took almost 11 hours (569 KM) - Started at 4.30 AM from Bangalore
Bangalore-Hosur- Krishnagiri- Dharmapuri-Thoppur - 160 KM - 2 Hrs - Super road
Thoppur-Mettur-Bhavani-Erode - 105 KM- 2:30 Hrs - SH Average road
Erode-CBE - 90 KM- 1:30 Hr - Good road, but trapped in Avinashi town for 30 mnts
CBE-Palakkad-Angamaly-Thodupuzha - 214 KM - 4:30 Hrs  -Heavy traffic two lane road
Return Journey - 9 hours - Started at 1:30 AM from Thodupuzha and reached bangalore by 10:30 AM. I guess this is the best time for this route, very few trucks or traffic
Thodupuzha-CBE - 4 hours - till Palakkad it was raining
CBE-Bhavani - 1 Hr
Bhavani-Thoppur- 2 Hr, narrow road, lots of village cycles and motor cycles and overtaking them itself a pain
Thoppur-Bangalore - 2Hr
