in 5000 rs what is worth to get (priority wise) among these things: remote locking, sun film, wooden finish dashboard, neck rests, seat cover etc.

They are charging 2000rs for wooden finish dashboard.

spark is better in riding comfort ,style, better ground clearance, but the only thing that it lacks is mileage.alto -14/15 in city.16/17 in high road. Spark -10/11 in city.13/14 in high road. So if mileage is not a concern go for spark.Another thing that one should keep in mind is after sales service-would GM match Maruti in this aspect ?

Mileage I am getting from my Spark is 13-14 kmpl in city with 100% a.c.

Highway 18.6kmpl with a.c.

People dont change when you tell them that there is a Better option... They change when they realise that there is No Other Option..

Ghatak, you need to find why you are getting 2-3 kmpl less than everyone else (except PK).

Spark is anytime better than Alto. I own a Spark LS and I'm very satisfied with its performance. I get approximately 12 km/l in Bangalore City with AC. I get 17-18 Km/l on Highways.

I guess a test drive would help you to decide which car is better. I feel spark would win you over if you compare with Alto.

If you are living in city, I would suggest you to go for the Spark.  But, if you are staying in a village where you cant find a service centre within ur reach, you can opt for Maruti.

Don't forget that 3 yrs fuel only (free service + warranty) scheme is a big thing even if you shell out initially. You dont even need to pay a single paisa for anything including Engine oil. Afterall, peace of mind is a big factor.
