@Dean - I am not against K & N - just that I don't buy their claims because it flies in the face of physical laws. Also, I don't say they're bad - just that they're not worth the price. The only point that goes for K & N is long filter life (clean it regularly and re-use it). I mean to clean it you have to still remove it - one may as well put a new OEM filter in at this point. Any "improvement" is purely just a "feeling" - unless measured. And measured results is what I trust in such matters. That's what I asked you for objective data. If you cannot provide it (due to any reason) then your claims of it being so good do not hold water. Yes the internet abounds with a lot such proofs - trust them at your own peril. If its the Indian Statistial Institute or ARAI or, ANSI or any such recognised standards organisation that certifies the benefits of K & N, yes I'll accept. Just the certification that K&N can be used in place of OEM without causing damage is not reason for me to accept that its a great thing to have! The claimed benefits & improvements too have to be certified.

It is you who is constantly raking up this issue trying to push it down our throats which I will NOT allow. Maybe you're happy with K&N, good for you. Just don't expect us to "listen" which is basically (to you) agreeing with you. You are free to voice your opinions just as we are, and its not necessary that people will agree with you. And don't take this personally please.

@ Dean, Hold on. Either towards me or towards anyone else, you need not be furious. Afterall, its a discussion. No one gains here by winning it. And, please rely upon desi links and proofs at least. I dont want to go off-topic but the foreign styles and Indian styles vary a lot, from basic looks, to your own car's DNA.

Before making any future posts, I would like to say that none of us here are criticising you. In fact, the comments made by you are not so compliant with forum rules. Still, as this is an ongoing discussions, we do not want to spoil it or stop it. 

A request from my side to you is to run a test, at least accelaration figures for a car with K&N and the same car without it. This way, you will have solid proof. Also, this will make things clear. I am interested in it and also, RR Racing is quite familiar to me. But due to exams and other duties, I am even forced to delay my swift's turbo project. Surely when I get time I will get a dyno rundone.

BUT, you are required to come back here with Material proof before you make any further comments or claims. Hope you get the point.
