My Usage will be 500 - 600 KM per month and 1500 KM On Highway once in 3 / 4 months..

Please help me to find a right one for me.. My family is 5 Member and Maximum Bud will be less than 4.5 L.

Hi Bhardwaj,

Thank you for the update..., have you heard about the compatbilty of the tuning box with Logan DCI?.. My brother is coming from Germany next month, so that i can prepare a perfect box which suitable for Logan DCI..

And any one have any input regarding the performance in terms of power and FE with tuning Box?..

Yes petes tunning box is compatable with Logan Dci so dragon box should be compatable

Tunning box is the easiest and simplest way of increasing the bhp.

So what u can expect is reduction of black smoke from exhaust, increased BHP,FE will remain the same.

I would also u suggest replace the stock filters with K&N air filter(Rs 5500) to improve performance marginally.

Thanks Buddy,

I just checked with the pete's person in cochin, he told that there is compatible model for Logan. Its costing 31K in india. while my borther told that its around 18K indian money..

Perts person saying that its not advisable to change the stock filter with a sporty K&N filter..

The reason he told that if i install a tuning box i will get around 20 - 25 % bhp and too some 2 -3 KM Add FE. So K&N airfilter cannot help with getting more power beyond this.. but surly he offerd a stedy performance and FE if we use that.

Will update you with more details..  I have shortlisted a Black DCI logan here in Blore for 4.2 L 2008 Jan Model Oddo showing 21K. Will try to get down the price, so that i can install Tunning box + Alloy with in my Budget

@ arangath,

if u like logan & find a good one than it is good else in petrol i would suggest u to go in for a baleno.

it is a great car with very good performace & driving dynamics. it gives good FE too & has good space inside too.

in 4 lacs or so u can even get a used fiesta which is also great on performance.

Thank you Roadster,

As you said I agree Baleno will be better choice in Petrol.. Ford cars are really expensive for the pocket. I had one Ikon, Once i banged a dog in NH with a speed arond 110, it costs a huge amount to replace my front bumber as it broekn by the hit, not even that i came across in many occation as Ford Costs more than any other in the same class. So just not considerd Ford from the first think itself.

Regardign Beleno, i heard from my friends regardign the failure with its clutch plates, Specially on reverse with slanding possition, and still surprise WHY Maruti stopped Baleno inbetween.

Any way i wont consider a petrol Logan at all.. The one which i shortlisted is DCI DLS. Still not getting any update or suggestion regardign AVEO. ( i am not sure aout the Maintanance of this one since none of my circles having this one )
