@Rakesh08051: A plank is needed if you are going for oval speakers. The door slots can accomodate only round speakers.

@Anil: Simple solution :- Components for front.

Hi friends,

I woluld like to setup audio system for my new Swift LDI and got confused on going through many threads in this forum Frown

I would like like to hear to high bass and rock music and ocassionally soft music.

What should be the choice for  HU and front and rear speaker's, kindly let me know the latest models in this. Most importantly my budget will be under 20k.

I would like to go for Pioneer HU, but not sure on which one is the good choice.

Front i would like to have components again not sure on which brand and model.

Rear speakers would like to have co-axial/oval's again not sure on brand and model.

Also, it would be helpful, if u can advice me on the security system(brand and model)  for my LDI as i have no parking place and have to park the car on roadside.

Ami, Arun, Greenhorn... kindly help me out yaar, i need to get them fixed this weekend.

hi greenhorn,

as i quoted earlier, i am looking for Pioneer HU, but confused on which latest model is good

For speaker's, i read a lot about Polk, JBL and Hertz speakers, but not sure which brand and model is good, as i am a good music lover and love to hear songs with high bass and ocassioanly soft music, i want to have good speaker's.

I dont want to invest right now on Amp and subwoofer, hence expecting better audio system with out them.

How should the audio system go, for front components and for rear .

For front components, can these be installed on the door itself, or does it require any kind of special arrangement?

For rear should i have the speakers installed on plank or boxes?, if on plank, what should be the size of speakers and what should be the plank quality, so that it can hold good speakers?

dont mind guy's lots of question's in my head Laughing

Hi Anil,

mine is a LDI vehicle, yeah it has immobilizer, but still i have to get it equipped with remote central locking, i am worried about the safety of the vehicle from theft , as i have to park my vehicel on the road side.

So, which one would be a good choice for LDI vehicle, AutoCop or Xenos ?
