I have got V-COOL on my Ritz for front and side and back glass. It costed me at Rs.14000/-. This RTO approved film is really good. no need to put AC fan speed even three. Great heat reduction and visibility. The only problem I face is that you feel even very little quantity of dust on the front wind shield. It needs to be cleaned frequently. Don't remember exact model No. May be T-35. Will confirm tomorrow.

Guys, remove all kind of sunfilms from your car. Its illegal now from today all over India. The only tint-ness on glass can be off manufacturers.

My first impressions:

I installed CS20 (3M) on all windows which has a

16 % visible light transmission

52% Solar heat rejection

AND

CR70 (3M) on windshield which has a

70% visible light transmission

50% solar heat rejection (on angle 59%)

23% Glare reduction

Have been driving in 'kathiri' heat in chennai - hottest month of the year. I noticed

1. Bit of less heat (not dramatic) inside a parked car

2. Quickly gets cooled inside after turning on AC (maybe I have a small car)

3. Glare reduction is not that great

4. Night time driving with CR70 has no issues. Visibility is ok.

Now coming to new RTO rules (which is in effect today) - I am not sure how much they are going to enforce. None of these police know any rules properly nor they will listen to you. Only money speaks to them. They are corrupted to the core.
