Q. What are the CarWale Awards about?

A. The CarWale Awards are about the intimate relationship shared between the consumer and the manufacturer; we only form a link to connect the two. It is also an opportunity for CarWale to connect directly with consumers as well as the automotive industry and build upon the relationship in a healthy way. The genesis and methodology of CarWale Awards is different from other awards. The CarWale Awards are consumer-driven, which means that consumers vote for the cars they think are worthy of the title in various categories. Hence, unlike the other awards, our winners are decided by the consumers.

Q. How are the contenders chosen?

A. All cars on sale from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 are eligible for any category.

Q. Who can vote?

A. You, dear consumer, are eligible.

Q. What about bogus votes?

A. Every person is allowed one vote per category. If you vote more than once, it will be disregarded in the evaluation. CarWale will make sure that bogus votes never count.

Q. I object to awards and don't want to participate. Why won't you remove me?

A. Every individual is entitled to his/her opinions. Your objection to CarWale Awards is limited only to the Awards event and is in no way reflected on the other activities that occur under the CarWale umbrella. It is for this reason that your details and profile will not be deleted.

A. Yes.

Q. Can I vote through SMS?

A. Yes. The eight categories are assigned codes from C1 to C8. While composing the SMS, type the code of the category you wish to vote for followed by a space and the name of the car that you wish to vote for. You can then send the SMS to 56-767-767.
